Japanese Tea Set – Boxed in Kettering, Northamptonshire for sale

The set consists of two bowls, two dishes and a teapot. The bowls have a stylised polychrome decoration over a white ground. The dishes are of shaped square form, in the white with an embossed circular central decoration. The tea pot is of ball form with double ring applied handle, applied spout, classic ball finial. The piece has a stylised polychrome decoration over a white ground with associated symbols in red, the words “Honor Honesty Hard Working” in blue and a red safety cord connecting the lid and handle. All the pieces fit nicely into a presentation box, which has a gold coloured lining, and Japanese lettering to the outside. The set is in excellent condition with just a slight imperfection to the box lid. The approximate measurements are: Bowls 3.5 cm x 6.75 cm Dishes 8 cm x 8 cm x 2 cm Tea pot 8.5 cm x 12.5 cm x 8 cm
